Page One is a podcast about books and some of the people who read them. Page One began as a project recorded at the Wilton Way Cafe in North East London and posted to Mixcloud as part of London Fields Radio. Episodes were released almost monthly between March and September 2012 and then weekly from the 9th of October, 2012 until the 2nd of September, 2013.
Some listeners will find the background noise in most of these recordings challenging. Episodes in which background noise might be a problem are marked with an N.
Episodes that would have been marked as explicit if they had gone out on iTunes/Apple Podcasts are marked here with an E.
All the episodes from this season are available below. First time listeners might like to start with Page One 27 featuring Anna Sulan Masing, Page One 31 featuring Carly McLauglin, or the quieter Page One 45 featuring Henry Blackshaw. The first of the Second-Hand Book Factories, which features Vera Chok, is Page One 9.
There are transcripts available for all the episodes in Season 1.
All episodes in this season have been edited to remove music that is no longer covered by licence for this podcast.
